South East of Rockville
Built by Henry Wolfe. Parke County's oldest covered bridge still rests on
original hewn stone foundations. Some say a flood caused the creek channel
to change and leave the bridge over dry land, so it was moved to its current location.
Rebuilt by General Arthur Patterson in 1867
This is a Burr Arch construction bridge, 132 feet long. 1 span, It crosses the Little Raccoon Creek.
And is on the National Register of Historical Places. 1978
