This bridge replaced an iron bridge destroyed by a flood in 1912 or 1913
The arches in this bridge are almost 60 years older than the rest of the
bridge. The arches were built by Henry Wolfe in a bridge near Armiesburg
which was washed out in 1913. These timbers were used by J. A Britton
in constructing the Cox Ford Bridge.
It is 176 feet long, 1 span, and crosses the Sugar Creek. It is a Burr Arch Bridge.
And is on the National Register of Historical Places. 1978
