Between Mansfield and Bridgeton ,IN
This is the only bridge in Parke County built of Pine.
Others are mostly poplar wood.
It was built by J. L. Van Fossen and his father, who worked
for the Parke County Highway Department.
It is a Burr Arch Double Span bridge, 192 feet long, and
crosses the Big Raccoon Creek.
And is on the National Register of Historical Places. 1978
