The MISA Severe Storm Spotter Operations Manual can be accessed here.  This manual provides suggested operating guidelines when providing reports via amateur radio to KØDMX, the amateur radio station located at the National Weather Service office in Johnston (Des Moines), during activation of SKYWARN nets:

Spring 2008 National Weather Service Spotter Training

Spotter training for 2008 has concluded for the year.  Annual training typically begins in February of each year.  Watch the MISA web page or the National Weather Service Des Moines web page for details.
