Challenge
So, it started out as an idea to get more people to fence foil
during our Thursday night practice. During announcements on a
Monday night, I threw my glove down and challenged everyone in
the club to a duel. Whomever could beat me the most times the
next Thursday night, I would pay for their next months dues. $15.
Not a lot, but a good challenge! Boy did I get results!
I took the strip at 8:15 p.m. and didn't stop fencing until 9:50. During that
time I fenced 19 bouts. Here are the results! I list
the score the person had by their name and mine after the hyphen.
Bouts that the other person won I list in green. The winner is in
red.
