in sessions which begin the first Monday in January, May, and September
and last 4 months.
Adult Classes
(all ages)
Beginning Fencing
When: Mondays
8:00-8:50 p.m.
Cost: $60 - Registration recommended
This is for anyone who is interested
in learning fencing. The class emphasis is on the basics of fencing.
The foil is used to teach the basic bladework concepts. Basic tactics
and bouting are included in the class. Participants need to
wear comfortable clothes to workout in.
Fundamentals of Foil
When: Mondays
8:00-8:50 p.m.
Cost: $60
This class is for those students who have
completed the Beginning Fencing class. This class builds upon the
techniques developed in the Beginning Fencing class. More detailed bladework and tactics for the foil are learned and practiced.
Participants need to wear comfortable clothes. Ownership of fencing
gear not required, but recommended.
Fundamentals of Epee

This class is for those students who have completed the Beginning
Fencing class. This class builds upon the techniques developed in the
Beginning Fencing class. Drills and techniques specific to the epee are
introduced and practiced. Participants need to wear comfortable
clothes. Ownership of fencing gear not required, but recommended.
Fundamentals of
Sabre

Mondays 9:00-9:50 p.m.
Cost: $60

This class is for those students who have completed the Beginning
Fencing class. This class builds upon the techniques developed in the
Beginning Fencing class. Drills and techniques specific to the saber
are introduced and practiced. Participants need to wear comfortable
clothes. Ownership of fencing gear not required, but recommended.
Advanced Fencing
When:
Mondays 8:00-8:50 p.m.
Cost: $60
This class is for those students who have
attained a level of proficiency with one or more weapons and are ready
to move on to more advanced topics including tactics, rules, event
preparation, etc. Participants need to wear comfortable clothes.
Ownership of fencing gear not required, but recommended.
