Please note I made an error in the session times.  These sessions will run 12 months in order for each person to qualify to be hostess twice.  If you want to run a 6 month session let me know.  That means you'll only be a hostess once.  But if the order for the month pushes the hostess incentive above the two hundred dollar mark I will pass the additional free money to the hostess for that month.  As I will do with the 12 month session.  Your choice.  Sorry about the mix up.  Deb

Ok.  This is the Stamping Club page.  I will show the sessions by listing the names (first only) in boxes with the date started.  I will have a box pending with the names waiting for a session to start.  If there are no sessions pending and you would like to get on the list then we will start a new box.  I have a rules page with some questions and answers.  Let me see.  MMMM   Can I get that in here or not.  Ok.  That didn't work well.  Me trying to be cute.

I will strive to promote our local businesses here as well.  We all do this voluntarily.  If you have stumbled across the web site and want to have a link here e-mail me.  I will do my best to accommodate your business as long as its mutual.  Its only fair.  Please check below the session boxes for our local links. 

6 members per club session. 
Club sessions run 12 months. 

Each member will be a hostess twice.
Orders are paid in full at time of the order. 
Meetings are optional. 
Each person will commit to spending $25.00 plus tax and shipping. 
Items will be picked up at a central location agreed to by the club. 
Members who wish to drop out of the club prior to the end of commitment needs to find a replacement, unless we have someone waiting for a new session to begin. 

Sessions of the club will begin when there are 6 people available. You can participate in more than one session. Just be sure your budget will allow it. 

Group members will receive a 2.00 discount on the product/idea book. It does not count towards your $25.00 order for the month.  This discount will apply to the new 2003/2004 catalogs as well!

Does this club have officers? 
No! 

Do we have to attend meetings to qualify for our hostess gifts? 
No! But your order must be in good standing i.e.: Paid. 

Can we spend more than $25.00 on our order? 
Yes you may, but keep in mind that the reason we started this club was so you could spread your hobby money out over a course of time, instead of spending it all at once. 

What if I can't do something, is there someone who can help? 
Yes. We will schedule a workshop where everyone can bring their items and idea's to help one another out.

Can I still schedule a home party? 
Yes you can but it will not count towards your group commitment. On the other hand you would be the hostess and if your party meets the minimum $150.00 order you will qualify for the incentives. 

Who is in charge of the treasury? 
No one. There is no treasury. The club is just being offered to help those of us who always overspend. Think of it as a way to help you budget and think about your purchases. Besides, during our workshops there may be some swapping available. For instance, I have a set of stamps I can't get creative with. Someone else may be able to and have something I want so a fair and equitable trade could be made. Or simply we share our stamps and tools with others so they can benefit from the craft and eventually all will have what they want. 

Why is there a minimum of $25.00 and why only 6 members per session? 

The minimum of $25.00 is set because in order for a party/group to qualify for the hostess incentives is to spend at least $150.00.  That is the first level.  6 seems to make if fair and equitable for each member.  Here is a for instance. 

The first month Sally, Jane, Judith, Ruth, Tammy, and Sandra each make their $25.00 order.  (this does not include shipping and tax) Sally was the first to sign up so we will start with her.  After tallying her order she spend with shipping and tax say $32.00.   She is the hostess for this month.  She will receive an additional $15.00 spending credit, yeah more paper and envelopes or ink or tools and a hostess stamp set.  These sets are only available to the hostess.  There are different levels and if the monthly tally reaches $200.00 the spend credit goes to $20.00.  This plan is laid out in the front of the product/idea book. 

Why would I want to purchase stamps through you and this group?  Why don't I just go downtown and get em? 

The company I work for does not allow me to mention their name on my web site.  They want me to spend money with them to have a web site there.  I already have a web site so NO.  Anyway, the initial SU may help.  I am a demonstrator with this company and by far of all the stamps I have purchased outside of my company I found these to be of superior quality and detail.  That doesn't mean there aren't good ones out there.  But you will pay good money for good stamps.  Usually in a store you are purchasing them in eaches.  Sometimes you pay for one stamp what a whole set would cost through my company even with shipping and tax.  You are going to pay tax no matter where you purchase it and the cost of fuel is well worth staying at home and getting your products at your door.  In our case it will be a central location, unless you are not close. 

Why are you setting up groups instead of doing home parties?

Here is the poop!  We all need to relax and have our hobbies.  Right now, with the way the economy is going, most of us are just barely hanging in.  Home parties can be intimidating and a lot of pressure.  The group idea was spurred into action when I realized that people needed to either not spend or be able to work it into their budget.  Most have decided not to spend.  I respect that.  So it is increasingly hard for me to find people who want to host a party.  This way you can budget.  You will be a hostess twice with this program.  The average hostess incentive at the minimum level is a value of $30.00.  It depends on the stamp set you get to choose.  In 12 months you will spend $300.00 plus tax and shipping.  You will receive back approximately $60.00 in free stuff.  I have hosted parties where one person spend $210.00 right off the bat.  Its simply a way to help budget and allow Stamping enthusiast to enjoy their hobby and find others that do the same.  And for selfish reasons, it helps me to maintain my demonstrator ship.  If I don't make so many $ in sales every quarter I loose it.  It cost $300.00 to join back up if they will allow it.

Ok.  I am off my band wagon.  The first group needs to be in place by Feb 20th.  The first order will be submitted by the 22nd.  It takes 7 days to get the order in.  I take Paypal (if you are using existing funds - no credit cards) All major credit cards, Checks and cash.  Credit cards are taken through our company Will's Comm. & Hobbies

A person to recruit 5 committed people will receive free shipping on their orders during the session that they are currently  signed up for.  Your recruits do not have to be in the same session as you are but your free shipping starts only after you have your 5 recruits. Committed means that your recruits have agreed to the terms of the session and remain active during their 6 month commitment.  

 

The free shipping will begin on the next order after you have 5 recruits and end at the end of your current session.  Shipping is calculated at 10% of the order or $3.95 minimum that you will save on each order.  If you are a member of more than one session it will only apply to the first session you signed up for.   As this club progresses we will have other recruiter incentives.  This is the first one I could come up with that would appeal to everyone to recruit at least 5 members. 

Example: 1  Kaye joins session 1 and recruits 5 more people making the session 6 and it begins.  Kaye will enjoy all 6 orders with paid shipping by me.   

Example: 2  Kaye joins session 1 recruits 3 people and Debbie recruits 3 making 6.  The third month into the session Kaye recruits 3 more people to start a second session.  We have to have 3 more people and one of Kaye's original recruits has 3 waiting for a session to begin.  As soon as the second session begins free shipping will begin for Kaye starting with her next club order and will remain in effect until Kaye's session ends as long as all 6 of her recruits remain in good standing with their orders.  

If you think it sounds confusing, I'd better start working on a spread sheet that will track that.  I can do it.  Its one of the things I can do well : )
