These fish are blind. They live in this cave. The water is sooooo
cold. This cave is Western North Carolina. One of these days, I will
remember where it is. These pictures were taken with our new digital
camera's. I think the distance pictures need more work but some of these close-ups
came out pretty good.
I have only seen this bush bloom once.
This
little wild flower just pops up every year in the garden.
The
little mums.
I will take more pictures this spring and summer as everything starts to
bloom. Then you will understand my passion for flowers. So I thought
it was appropriate to add the garden links here too

Here are the spring/summer 2003 Back Yard Pictures.
View from the back porch.
The large flower bed established.
Bleeding heart. Woodland varity.
Red leaf bush with thorns. Will got this for me this spring.
Catapiller
Another view of the main flower bed in the back yard. In bloom are Azaleas
and columbine.
Interesting comumbine
Corkscrew Willow. Planted this spring. Loves it there. Catnip
in the back. New flower bed with small Azaleas and a variety of other
things planted.
Variety of a Daisy.
Domestic Spiderwort These are native to the woodlands of North Carolina
and I found some and brought it to flourish.
Forget me nots. Didn't know what these were until I saw them at
K-mart.
Bearded Iris. Need different colors of these.
Will's newest addition. It is a Passion plant in bloom and fruit.
Fruit looks empty but it is interesting. It has to be the most interesting
flower I have seen.
Daisy. Interesting note. Camomille tea is brewed from a
daisy.
Viola. These are hardy little buggers and don't be surprised over the
winter to see these pop up in bloom if kept on a southern exposed wall.
The same with pansies.
Some of our flying wildlife found lurking on our screen doors.
Here is some more. Looks like this one is ready for winter. Has it's
fur coat on already.
These ferns are wonderful and guess what. They are on a southern exposed
wall in the full sun. Who said ferns don't like sun? Even my shaded
ferns thrive in the full sun. Imagine that. Just like them there
hosta's or (plantation lilies) thrive here in the full sun.
