Dear Connie,
I want to thank you so much not only for your help matching me up with one of your puppies but also with giving me such a great dog. Gizmo is almost a year old now (I will have some pictures for you soon) and he has been an incredible addition to my family. Since I picked Gizmo up from you I've moved back to St. Louis, MO with my parents. I have to tell you I was rather worried about moving back with him, they aren't used to such a small dog and really didn't want one in the house but it has been a great experience. When I'm not home at night and it's time for him to go to bed my Dad, who has never liked dogs in the bed, has started picking Gizmo up and taking him in to sleep with him until I get home. Gizmo has filled our house with laughter from his running sprees, to his ability to hide in God only knows what, to having the uncanny ability to know when one of us just needs a little lovin! Everyday I wake up to the cutest little face ever that is ready to climb up on me and give me a "good morning" kiss. He has even gotten both my Grandfather and my Sister who both hate dogs in a good mood. My Grandfather has always been a firm believer that all dogs belong outside and working, but he has not only decided that I did a great job with picking this little lap dog out but lets him come and sit on his lap and even join him for dinner when we visit him at his nursing home. Infact, the rare time that I don't bring Gizmo with me he requests that the next time I go to see him that I bring Gizmo with me. He brings so much life to the nursing home every time we walk in. My Sister, who is not only allergic to dogs but is a clean freak and can't stand anything with fur loves him and always askes me to bring him with me when I stop by the house to see her two boys. This clean freak, germ-a-phobe even brings her 8month old son down on the floor to see Giz and lets Gizmo get in a couple kisses.
On other notes, Gizmo graduated at the top of his class from Puppy School and even went trick-or-treating with us this year. I will send some updated pictures soon but I thought durring this time of thanksgiving and cheer that I would just let you know how much joy this little puppy has brought to my life and family. Thank you so much for making this an easy transition and brining such a great dog into my life and my family's life.
