Known for their light weight (less than 7 lbs.), yet fine tone, Petrella Banjos are made of a hardwood veneer over a special alloy pot, so as to appear as a wooden pot. The neck is made of a fine grade of Asian Mahogany and includes a truss rod within for precision action adjustments. The rosewood fretboard is inlayed with easy to see large block genuine pearl inlays.
Optional heel and/or resonator carvings can be either painted with bright colors, or finished naturally, highlighting the wood finish.
