The basement powder room is beige with white fixtures and black rugs. Here are a few tin-sign movie posters and a life mask of Jack Nicholson with a big grin. Most life masks are very eerie and dead-looking, but this one is re-sculpted with the eyes open (the actor has to close his or her eyes for the actual cast, of course). The big Joker grin also helps, plus I've added a pair of Wayfarer-style sunglasses just like Jack likes to wear. The corner cabinet also holds several books about movies and screenwriting as well as a small collection of old James Bond novels that I've had since I was a teenager. |

| To give even more of the feel of a movie theater, I mounted a paper towel dispenser above the toilet, decorated with a couple more movie-poster magnets. | |
