Digitaltopia to rise from the Ashes?
Well to any small amount of faithful readers I have lurking about the nether lands that are the dark corners of this word wide web. One of my last posts before dissipating for for nearly years year dared to ask 'Is New Orleans Totally Fucked'. In horrid, horrid hindsight if some lazy partially involved blogger could have that coming one would think that there might have had been able to pick up on a few of those minor warning signs. Since my last post the word has changed endlessly and also strayed very much the same. The wheel turns season roll buy but Bush still run the show. Phone are nearly hotter ccommodity then crack rock. The housing market, and a bridge in Minneapolis have come crashing down. A point less war wages on with little hope for quick end in site. Googe has emerged in the behemoth we all suspected it might, but can it handle great power and responsibility with turning the ways of the dart side.
Fire Sharing lives on and healthy. It morphs and changed hides and move, will still growing. Bit Torrent has emerged as the biggest and most tricky beat to cut down so far, even as major players and for runners to the scene jump ship to join up with hollywoods army. The open ,source, private trading clubs seem to be not just ready but even eager to move onto the next state of the battle field. So far in the was of those who decant freedom to information, and those copy holders who want to own the intelligence rights of works by artist long dead has seen many small scrimmages and a few large battles. Its gorilla and insirjects fighting a big out of touch army. That army maybe able to win a few public battles but the War is slowing turning against them. Most see it coming.
The Face of TV is changing forever. Fairly soon we will see a vast shit in power twoards the hands of the creators and comsumrers away from the studuios. No more long season hiadis for good shows.. Hell I dream of future where I can get a whole season of my favorite show off iTunes or DVD unedited shoot as they are mean to be seen They at some laster point the network can buy the rerights to show the series on TV edited and broken up as they feel. The balances are shifting.
These are just afew of the type of this I'll be trying to touch base on or maybe just plain rant about in the coming weeks. I would really like to have this site go through some major changes soon. So if all goes well feel free to drop by and give me any feed back or idea.
