Danny and Judy had a pleasant visit with Judy's sister, Janey, in Banner Elk, NC. While there they visited Tweetsie Railroad and attended the Rhododendron Festival at Roan Mountain, TN.
They also had a nice visit by their grandchildren, K.J. and Andrea. While visiting they went to Westville, GA (a working 1850's village), did a lot of swimming, and visited the Columbus Riverwalk. Danny & Judy visited some distant relatives of Judy's near Macon, GA recently and collected much genealogy data and brought home a plethora of chiggers.
Robin celebrated her recent birthday with friends at a local lake. Kirk received his B.S. degree from the University of St. Francis (congratulations!) and is now working toward his Masters. He recently changed jobs and is now a supervisor at the ComEd Nuclear Power Facility, a subsidiary of the Exelon Corporation, one of the nation's largest utility services companies.
K.J. has entered the 5th grade and is a school crossing guard. Andrea had a great softball season hitting several homeruns and has begun 2d grade.

In June Josh attended vacation bible school. On Father's Day weekend Adam, Cindy & the kids met Cindy's parents, Aunt Enis & Uncle Allan, in Jacksonville. The following weekend they visited Disney World. In July Josh & Jessi attended summer camp. In August the whole family went to Miami to help celebrate Cindy's Mom's 60th birthday and then went to the Bahamas to visit friends & relatives and have some fun boating and snorkeling. Over the Labor Day weekend Eric and Anita met Adam, Cindy, Josh & Jessi in Linville, NC. They had fun shopping, golfing and visiting Grandfather Mountain.
