Dad and Mom News

After hibernating through the winter, Dad is happy to be out mowing again.  His long time friend and co-worker, Johnny, died recently.  Mom, Dad and Butch attended funeral services in Greensboro for their cousin, Iris. Dad continues to visit Aunt Lois, 91, regularly.  She and her family are fine.  He and the other family duffers enjoyed their annual golf match.  Joining him were C.V., Bobby, Johnny, Butch, Eric and his dad, Kenneth.  They lost but had a wonderful day together.

Mom and Mickey found out recently that you can't beat City Hall.  A decision they made with the Tree Board was appealed and the City Council sided with the appellate.  You can't win 'em all.

Mom received her 2000 hour hospital service pin.

Mom and Dad spent Easter and Mother's Day in Asheboro with Gregory, Anita, Eric and his family.

C.V. & Seadonia Family News

C.V. and Seadonia have a new motor home with all the "bells and whistles" and have invited Mom and Dad to go on an exciting trip this fall.

They are still enjoying camping with the grandchildren and were surprised to see "G.I. Joe" in a tree at Buggs Is

land.  Ma got him down - probably by waving "Barbie" from below.

Seadonia came to Eden to celebrate her birthday with C.V., Mom and Dad at the Peking Pagoda.
