Before coming to a new church we are sure you would like to know a little more about us. We are family of Christians, baptized into Jesus Christ for remission of our sins. (Acts 2:38). We are committed to living by faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 2:20) seeking always to please Jesus as our head (Ephesians 1:22) The first thing you will notice when you enter our church is the smiling faces. We are a warm friendly group of Christians who are interested in you and your family.
We have Bible study groups for all ages. Join us on Sunday morning or Wednesday evening for a study of the Bible.
Our worship service follows the teaching of the New Testament. We worship God from our hearts and according to the truth (John 4:24) There is congregational singing (Colossians 3:16), the Lord's supper on the first day of the week (I Corinthians 11:23-29, Acts 20:7) giving of one's mean according to his prosperity and purpose in his heart (IICorinthians 9:6-7)
Bible centered preaching. We believe the Bible to be in the inspired word of God and to be the sole authority in religion of Christ (I Peter 4:11) We can look to the Bible to answer our moral ethical questions of today.
Since Christ is our only head we have no earthly headquarters or organization. (Ephesians 1:22-23) We are joined together with our sister congregations by a bond of love.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord Colossians 3:16 (back)
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the [same] night in which he was betrayed took bread And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me After the same manner also [he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink [this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of [that] bread, and drink of [that] cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body Acts 11:23-29 (back)
And upon the first [day] of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. Acts 20:7 (back)
But this [I say], He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. II Corinithains 9:6-7 (back)
If any man speak, [let him speak] as the oracles of God; if any man minister, [let him do it] as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. I Peter 4:11 (back)
And hath put all [things] under his feet, and gave him [to be] the head over all [things] to the church Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Ephesians 1:22-23 (back) |
