Hello Folks! Ok, I'm stumped. For years, I've been using the MIDI IN feature of a MIDI interface connected to a SoundBlaster Live soundcard to use soundfonts, for extra sounds that my synth doesn't have. Well, now that I've had to reformat, I reinstall everything, and the MIDI IN feature doesn't work any more. MIDI OUT works great. I thought it might have been a soundcard issue, so I replaced the soundcard. Then, I tried replacing the midi interface, and still the same issue. I have MIDI OUT capability, but no MIDI IN. Does anything have to be installed in DOS to make this work correctly?! I know I'm missing something, but after 2 days of pulling my hair out, I'm looking for help! Can anyone offer any tips?
