Elliot was married twenty years ago to a socialite named Amber Dubois.
Amber had been a selfish, willful girl forced to marry him so that their
families could unite. They ended up falling in love anyway and had a set of
twin girls together. But it didn’t take long for their love to turn sour. So it
happened and three years after the day they met they divorced when he came home
and found her with Lorenzo the pool boy. It infuriated him, and he didn’t
hesitate to file for divorce. His father was a tough old man, and hated the
notion of divorce as did Amber's father. So the two got together and arranged
to put both Amber, and Elliot's inheritance in trust for their granddaughters
Lori Anne, and Morgan Rose. This made both Amber and Elliot race to get custody
of their children. While Amber loved her daughters, and so did Elliot both
loved money so much more. When the grandfathers threatened to find a way
to adopt the girls and leave them with nothing, the two parents decided it would
be better just to split up the twins. That way both would have access to the
money till either the girls got married, or turned twenty-five. There was also
a stipulation that whichever girl married first would have five million less if
she got married before completing her education. And another factor is the
parent that's child got married before getting an education would forfeit their
own 5 million that lies in trust till the girls are 25. Lori has no idea
that she has a twin, or all the stipulations of her trust. Her father would
prefer her being unaware. He is a high executive and believes it means he's
entitled to whatever he wants.
To Elliot’s discontent and strong objections, Lori has recently married
at the tender age of 19, in her second year of college. Elliot is seeing red over losing his money
and he is trying hard to find a way to still get his money. He just may have a
shot if he can break up the marriage and convince Lori to get it annulled.
Elliot has a strong will and he has always found a way, even if it means
possible deportation for Christopher Romero. Elliot’s girlfriend Amanda does
not like his treatment of his new son-in-law and the adamant objections to the
marriage but Amanda does not know what Elliot stands to loose and he plans on
keeping it that way.
