24th Annual Mushroom Festival, 2004
Dear Mushroom Festival Exhibitor,
Potential Vendor/Exhibitor, please be advised that the United States Vice
President Dick Cheney has been invited to be the 24th Annual Mushroom
Festival Grand Marshall. At this time the invitation is being reviewed by
the White House Staff. Since 2004 is an election year, since Missouri is a
"swing" State, since it has been recently discovered that he has
"maternal" great, great grand parents buried in Ray County, very
close to Richmond, it is more possible then ever that the invitation will be
accepted. The return letter advised that "it (the invitation) will be
reviewed at a time closer to the date of the Festival".
It is time to begin the planning and organizational stage of the Annual Mushroom
Festival. The date for the 24th Annual Mushroom Festival is April 30 and May 1,
& 2, 2004. (Only sporting events on May 2nd). As in the past, all spaces
are on a first come first serve basis. All exhibitors requesting a specified
space must send payment and signed application before March 15th. No post
dated checks. If you have been using the same space you may be able to
get the same space this year, however, we can make no guarantee. All
spaces are 15' X 15'. If additional space is necessary, you will be required to
purchase the needed space(s) accordingly. This will be at per space prices and
we can't make any exceptions. All spaces are limited to 15-foot depth due to
parade accessibility.
I am enclosing a copy of the 24th Annual Mushroom Festival information and
Registration forms. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further
assistance to you. See you at the Festival,
Sincerely,
Jerry McCarter
