August 16, 2009, was the last day for flying before work begins on the reservoir. The three photos below are the last taken at Chesley Meadows for a while! Until our new field is finished in a couple of months, remember that Crazy Creek is available on Tuesday and Saturday mornings.

Sunday, June 7th, was the first time Jack Tatum was able to come to the field since his surgery. The photo below left shows Jack getting his CAP ready for flight. The photo below center is Jack with his Waco. Photos were taken by Scott Drew.

Last week Jay Carey gave Doug Moore's oldest grandson, Luca, a few lessons. Luca, 7 1/2 years old, managed a few turnsand one loop! Thanks Jay. Photo contributed by Doug Moore April 19, 2009.

Saturday, March 28, 2009, started out to be a good day for flying. Four of our members gave us a little show with their warbirds--Paul & P-47, Kevin & P-47, Don & Mig-3, and Jack & Spitfire. Kevin's plane had some trouble and came down. The pilot in Kevin's P-47 was really upset as you can see in the photos below that were taken by Don Wicks.
