October 28, 2009. Work has begun on our new runway. Yippeeeee!!! In his email containing the three photos posted below, Jay said that a big collective sigh of relief is in order.

October 9, 2009, Jay Carey and a small crew of club members staked out a new 900-foot runway. The Picture on the left is looking straight down the center of the runway, and the five big scrub oaks have been added to the demolition list. The picture on the right is angled toward the berm. Our shelter and stuff will be about half way to the berm.

NEWSFLASH! Received on July 15th in an e-mail from Duane Sanders.

Hi, you have no doubt heard by now that I have a major blunder on my fuel order this time, when I asked for 24 gallons which is a minimum order. What I just recieved is 96 gallons of fuel. So, news flash, I did get a good price, and freight on so much makes it a little cheaper. So,

10% cool power, $16.00,
15% 4 stroke, $18.00,
15% 2 stroke, $18.00
30% heli special, $26.00,(for Scott),
20/20 pro pattern, $22.00.

I need to move some fuel. Can we get this on the club web site etc.???
