August 16, 2009, was the last day for flying before work begins on the reservoir. The three photos below are the last taken at Chesley Meadows for a while! Until our new field is finished in a couple of months, remember that Crazy Creek is available on Tuesday and Saturday mornings.

Jack Tatum and Doug Moore discussing Doug's new Waco. It's a smaller version of a Waco just like Jack owns--even the same color scheme! Photo by Dee Tatum August 16, 2009.

Paul Biehler and his guest, Rowan, who is visiting from Michigan and enjoyed some good stick time on the buddy box with Paul. Photo by Dee Tatum August 16, 2009.

Saturday, March 28, 2009, started out to be a good day for flying. Four of our members gave us a little show with their warbirds--Paul & P-47, Kevin & P-47, Don & Mig-3, and Jack & Spitfire. Kevin's plane had some trouble and came down. The pilot in Kevin's P-47 was really upset as you can see in the photos below that were taken by Don Wicks.
