_________________________________________________ KEEP IOWA BEAUTIFUL
DEXTER PROJECT
This summer the City of Dexter will be encouraging its community members
participate in the beautification of Dexter's buildings. Community members
interested in active participation as a board member or as volunteer in the
project are encouraged contact City Hall.
The City of Dexter will be receiving the necessary paint from the Paint
Iowa Beautiful program this summer. This project will be a community project
in the truest sense. Any community member
interested in receiving paint from Paint Iowa Beautiful for their home
will be assisted by local community members in the application to their home.
In return they are asked to put their time and efforts towards the painting of
other community members homes. If for some reason such as medical or physical
you are unable to participate in the actual painting of a home, donations of
refreshments or other needed necessities would be much appreciated. Keeping up
the appearance of our building and facilities is an important component of
viable communities. Well-maintained and painted building reflect pride in our
communities. Through a partnership with Diamond Vogel Paint, Iowa groups
can receive paint for community enhancement projects. More than 3,000 gallons
of paint have been donated to community groups through the Paint Iowa
Beautiful program.
