Description=========== NaNoTrack is a Palm program modeled to keep track of your wordcount Requirements============ * A PalmOS device running PalmOS 3.5 or higher. You may try it on older devices, but I haven't tested it. Characters has been tested on the Palm T|X; the Tungstens E2, T2, W, E, and C; the M515, the Visor Pro, the Visor Prism, the TRGPro, the Handera Pro, the Symbol 1550, the Alphasmart Dana, the Sprint Palm Centro, and the Janam XP30. Installation / Usage==================== First, install NaNoTrack like you would any other PalmOS program. Now, run NaNoTrack. Select add to add to your word count. Select any day to edit or update previously entered word counts. FAQ=== Q: NaNoTrack is nice, but can you add my favorite feature? A: Maybe. Send me an e-mail at brittger@mchsi.com. It might not make it in the program until next year, but if I have enough time and want to add it, then I will try. Q: Will you support handheld X? A: Maybe. Try it. If it doesn't work report to me the handheld model. If I can get that handheld cheap, or can get access to one, I will fix it. Also report the Palm models that I did not list and with which you have had success. Q: How much does this software cost? A: Short answer: Free. Long answer: Free. You are participating in NaNoWriMo right? Q: Do I have to register this software? A: No. You are too busy getting 50,000 written in only 30 days. Q: What are the limitations of this software? A: There are no locked or crippled features and no "nag screens". It is free. The only limitation is that it only allows you to enter your wordcount as having happened during the month of November. That is not a limitation because the program is meant to keep track of your word count during NaNoWriMo which is in November. Q: Can I send you money? A: Do not send any money for the NaNoTracker program. If you want to donate, donate to www.nanowrimo.org. Q: Will you port this to the iPhone or Pocket PC? A: Not in the immediate future.
