Danny & Judy Family News

Chuck & Yang News                     

  Chuck has completed major dental procedures in Martinsville, VA. Yang has been in the hospital again and continues to need our prayers. They both feel drained. Yang celebrated her birthday with cards and calls from family and friends.

Danny visited Mom and Dad. While there, they toured Bob and Deana's R.C. Hobby Shop and C.V. and Seadonia took them out to a great meal. Danny and Judy have hosted children and grand-children most of the summer and even kept visiting animals. Danny has been on the Atkins diet and is looking and feeling great. That old school boy figure looks great. Danny had a bad fall that uprooted plants and shrubbery. While laying there, he thought of Dr. Atkins who died from results of a fall earlier in the year. When Judy reached him, he told her he had been laying there thinking of Dr. Kevorkian. Wrong Doctor!
Kirk, Robin, K.J. & Andrea have moved to Georgia.  Robin is employed by InnoSource Business Solutions of Atlanta.  K.J. is taking karate and Andrea is playing the saxophone.

Adam, Cindy, Josh & Jessi have been busy this summer with trips to the Bahamas and North Carolina.  Adam and Cindy are on a tennis team. Adam was recently selected Captain of the team.  Josh and Jessi were on the local swimming team and are now enrolled in numerous activities for the fall.

Eric & Anita Family News

Eric announced he was having a birthday week (others have a birth "DAY") and sure enough, he did. He ended up with three cakes (Seadonia brought one, his mother brought an unusual one and there was even one that said 'Happy Birthday Erica!).  Anita has changed jobs, hopefully for a less stressful one, but so far it has meant a lot of traveling, even some overnight trips in two states. They had mice visitors so Eric (who does everything in a big way) bought a case? of traps which took care of the pests. If you have the same problem, there are lots of traps left but you will have to furnish your own peanut butter bait. Eric hosted a golf outing for Dad, Adam and Danny. They all had a wonderful day just being together and having fun, especially Dad who whipped the young'uns soundly. Gregory and Shawna had a busy summer. They went to Japan, she for a month, he for six weeks on a mission trip. They experienced 4 earthquakes. Gregory brought home an interesting souvenir - a Samurai Warrior helmet and mask. Anita sent his lap top power pack and Pepsi's; postage being $80 but it was 'liquid love' in a bottle. Shawna went to work in PA and Gregory went to summer school. He is now working at the Davidson Co. airport. Mom and Dad fixed lunch for Anita's birthday. Gregory brought a surprise guest; his college president who looks like Bill Clinton and John Elway (if you can imagine) but he fit right in and even helped sing 'Happy Birthday' to Anita. Eric's parent's, Ken and Geri, took Mom and Dad out for fish for Mom's birthday. Ken's work place has closed.
