Thanks for your prayers - Julie is feeling better and we had no interruptions to our schedule for today

This morning we went to the Chinese security office to receive Macey's passport. Nothing more than signing a few forms.

Don't I look funny wearing a 'Snugli'? After returning to the hotel, we finished packing up our things and checked out. Macey is starting to really come out of her shell - we are able to play little games and laugh together frequently.

Here's our group in the hotel lobby.

The ride to the airport took a little over an hour. Checking in -the group worried about being over our luggage weight limit - we were by 20Kg, but luckily we didn't have to pay a fine.  :-)

This again is Maggie -one of our guides while in Nanchang. She really took a liking to Macey (and vice-versa):

The flight was an hour an a half, but went relatively smoothly (the landing was a little rough).

By the time we got to the White Swan Hotel, it was after dark, but wow, what a change from Nanchang!

Our room is on the 11th floor and overlooks the river (again), but this time it is beautiful at night, with neon lights on the other side and colorful party boats cruising slowly up and down the river.

We went to eat at a little restaurant called Lucy's Bar and Grill - to our delight they had some American food and I eagerly ordered a cheeseburger. Unfortunately, I would later regret that decision, but more on that tomorrow...
