I have many hobbies. Some of my current interests are below.



Genealogy

My interest in genealogy is the primary reason I created this page. I would like to meet all my cousins. I am researching Sharp(e), Reeve(s), Milam, Ray, Rogers, and Nichols. Classic Autos

I have owned a '69 Camaro SS350 since 1984. I have also owned a '68 Camaro and a '71 Buick GS350. Click on the logo to link to my Classic Camaro Page. It has a picture of my Camaro and links to other interesting Camaro pages.



Movies and Autographs

I enjoy watching movies from Hollywood's Golden Era (1930-1960). I believe the movies, actors, and actresses of this era held a special mystique over their fans. Explicit sex, extreme violence and vulgar language were not necessary for them to create the right mood. Sex and horror scenes were left more to the imagination of the viewer. As a side effect of this addiction, I collect autographs of these vintage actors and actresses. Click on the camera to link to my Movies/TV/Autographs page. (Note. Church

I am an elder in the Christian Church. To learn more about my church, click on the BIBLE. The page also has links to Christian Church history and other religious information. I hope you enjoy the inner peace that my salvation gives me.


Woodwork

I enjoy making things with my hands. As an engineer, I work in an exciting, highly technical career. The downside, however, is that the results of my labors are often not readily visible or take years to materialize.  Wood-working and similar crafts are a relief because they give me a sense of more immediate satisfaction.



Sports

I am not much of a jock, but I enjoy playing and watching sports. My favorite sport is football, but my family and I also attend baseball and basketball games. My hometown has a Minor League AA baseball team (Stars), an NBDL basketball team (Flight), and an Arena Football team (Vipers).

My favorite football teams are Ole Miss and the Miami Dolphins. I am an Ole Miss alumnus, graduating with a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1980. (If you are an Ole Miss engineering alumnus, EMAIL me.) I like the Dolphins because they were "the team" of the early 70's, when I was first becoming interested in football.



Audio & Video

I enjoy music of all types - classical, gospel, rock, country, blues, and some jazz - almost anything but rap. My favorite music is classic rock and roll.

I cannot afford a really esoteric A/V system, but I have a good one for the money. My source components are a Roksan Kandy CD player, a Rega Planar 3 turntable, a Sony BDP-S350 Blu-ray DVD player, an Onkyo Integra TA-2090 Cassette player, a JVC HRS-3500 VCR, and a Samsung 52” LCD TV.  The amplifier section consists of an Anthem AVM50 Preamp/ Processor, and Lexicon NT-312 and Proceed Amp2 power amps.  The speakers are Vandersteen 2b mains, Sonance 350 in-wall surrounds, and a PSB Image 8C center channel.  MIT cables round out the system.
