General Stuff About the Movies
The people in Hollywood make a lot of money trying to get us to see stuff we don't need to see.
The people in Hollywood make a lot of money trying to convince us that sin is OK.
The images we see are permanently burned into our brains.
The more we hear words, the more likely we are to say them without thinking.
Movies aren't real. Real people don't look like that, talk like that, act like that, etc.
If you are a Christian, you force Jesus to see any movie that you see.
Trust your parents' judgment.
Respect your parent's judgment, even if you choose not to trust it.
Questions to Ask Yourself
Am I too young to get in legally?
Am I going because I really want to see it or just because everyone else is seeing it?
Would I be in trouble if my parents found out I saw it?
Would I be embarrassed if my parents found out I saw it?
Would I be embarrassed if the Elders found out I saw it?
Would I be embarrassed if Jesus found out I saw it? (Guess what, he'll know!)
Did my parents tell me not to see it? (disobeying your parents is a big deal on its own!)
