We ask for your help, here's how
you can participate
In 2008, our first
year,
over 200 riders raised over $50,000 which was enough to beat Missouri
in their second year. But it won't be enough for 2009! Once again, Iowa
riders will come together for the Iowa Rip's B.A.D. Ride II in Boone, IA. The 2009 Iowa
vs Missouri challenge is on - join us, we need your help!
The reason to help is more than just a little friendly competition with
a
neighboring state, it's to help the ADA fulfill their mission! "To prevent and cure diabetes and to
make an every day difference in the quality of life for all people
affected by diabetes".
1.
Please consider signing up for the B.A.D.
Ride and help raise
donations. Funds raised for this non-profit event by you and your
sponsors will support the lifesaving work of the American Diabetes
Association. (See
"How Does It Work")
2. Become
a direct B.A.D. Ride event
sponsor. There are several sponsorship options available, including
Vendor spaces at the Start and Festival Sites. (See "Sponsors")
3. If you
can't join the ride, please consider making a donation to
sponsor a rider on the B.A.D.
Ride. No matter how small or large, your generous gift will help
improve the lives of the more than 20 million Americans affected by
diabetes, and it's tax deductible. You can even make your donation
securely online.
