Ride to Gators Diner in Gautier Ms. for Breakfast/Brunch.

 We'll meet at Donovan's 7:30am, Kickstands up at 7:45. We'll take Hwy 90 to Tillman's Corner where we'll turn on to 3knotch and ride up to Dawes. Turn left on GrandBay Willmer and go to the light at Newman and Airport. From there we'll take  Airport out to River Rd. Once we get to River Rd we'll turn left where we'll have several miles of great curves and smooth pavement. This is where slower riders will want to be in the back so they can enjoy the scenery at a more leisurely pace while the ones in the front can open their throttle and experience Newton's "Laws of Motion and Inertia" at there own pace. We'll go single file for safety of course and join back up at Hwy 57 where the front runners will be waiting for the rest of us. From there we'll turn left on 57 and ride through Vancleave on a smoothly paved road where we'll pick up Gautier/Vancleave Rd just on the other side of Vancleave. We'll take it down to Hwy 90. Then go left on Hwy 90 through two red lights where we'll find Gators Diner on the right. Are we there yet? Are we hungry yet? I hope the food is as good as the ride.

Go south on Hwy 59 to County Rd 64.  Make left turn on CoRd. 64 heading east.  Follow CoRd. 64 to dead end, make a left turn to continue on CoRd. 64.  Continue on CoRd. 64 across Interstate 10 until you reach Hwy 112.   Make left turn on Hwy 112.   Follow Hwy 112 until you reach CoRd. 61 (Phillipsville Rd.)  Make a right turn on CoRd. 61.  Continue on CoRd. 61 until you reach Hwy 31.   Make a right turn on Hwy 31.  Stay on Hwy 31 for about 1.5 miles until you reach Hwy 47.  Make a left turn on Hwy 47.  Stay on Hwy 47, go through Perdido.  Continue on Hwy 47 until you cross Interstate 65.  Stop at the service station (north east corner) for a break.   

Once you are done with the break, leave service station by making left turn back onto Hwy 47.  Continue on Hwy 47 until you reach CoRd. 96 (Old Ganey Rd).   Make right turn onto Co.Rd. 96.  Follow CoRd. 96 to the dead end.  Make a left turn onto Hwy 59.  Follow Hwy 59 until you reach the Stagecoach which is on the left hand side of the road.

Dauphin Island Ferry Ride

 This has become an annual event and one that everyone enjoys to the fullest.

We’ll leave Donovan’s 9:00 or 9:30, take 90 through Tillman’s Corner and Theodore to Bellingraph road. Turn south on Bellingraph and follow it all the way down to where it dead ends at Bayou La Batre Highway. From there we’ll turn left and go through Herrin Bay on the way to Alabama Port. Turn right on DIP, over the bridge to Dauphin Island. Turn left on Bienville down to the boat ramps. Rest Stop. We may have to wait on the ferry for a few minutes depending on how long it takes us to get to the island. We’ll board the ferry and ride across the bay to Fort Morgan. You can feed the seagulls on the way, take pictures or just relax and breath the salt air. Be ready to shell out a few bucks for the ferry ride on the Fort Morgan side. From there we’ll follow the beach road to 59 at Gulf Shores. We can have lunch at The Oyster House or any where else we want. The rest of the day will be spent enjoying the ride back to where ever we came from
