Welcome
to the website of the Ames Noon Kiwanis Club. As part of Kiwanis International, we are devoted to the principles of service and the advancement of individuals, community, national welfare, and international goodwill. The family of Kiwanis service clubs spans the globe with members in 90 nations.
85 Years of Service!
- The Kiwanis Club of Ames was chartered in May, 1923. We serve the children of the world through our hands-on projects and financial awards. These awards are made possible by your participation in our fundraising events and gifts to our foundation.
Our Projects
- Our main fundraising event is Kiwanis Pancake Days. Also, we sell sweet corn, apples, and even gumballs! We help out Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, and other hands-on projects. We sponsor sports facilities, arts and crafts, educational programs, and other endeavors that serve the children of Ames.
Meetings
- Prospective members and visiting Kiwanians are invited to join us for lunch at our weekly meetings on Fridays at 12:00 p.m. at the Ames Golf and Country Club, 5752 George Washington Carver Ave. Phone: (515) 232-8334.
