chapter 1///Unanswered Questions///

(Heart Rate)

Pound.........pound..........pound........pound......pound....pound..pound pound POUND POUND!!!!!!!

The sweat drips down the side of his face. Rushing pulse. Rashoki's (RushOkee) eyes burst open. The hospital room and the fluffy white cushions on his surgery bed makes his face slowly curl into a puzzled look. He questions himself,"Where am I?"

Rashoki: What happened?

He hops out of the surgery bed and looks at his stomach, where a large, mysterious scar remains.

Rashoki: Oh, man.

He walks out the door, but the hospital's empty. He slowly walks back into the room, gets his clothes from under the bed, and changes into them. He walks back into the hall and proceeds down to the doors. He walks out. Mid-day. His stomach starts hurting really bad. He closes his eyes and sees his skeleton. A small serpant-thing swims around in his rib cage, taking a nibble at him every once in awhile. His eyes burst open. He doesn't want to see anymore. Again, the streets are empty. He feels the pain again. He opens his eyes and he's suddenly in Dun Loreig, sleeping in the grass. He gets up and looks at his stomach. Nothing.

Rashoki: Good, it was just a dream.
