Jogging/Walking
Track
v Track is 1/11 mile per lap (11 laps per mile).
v
Running direction is reversed
daily. Run clockwise on even numbers
days and counter clockwise on odd numbered days.
v Track hours are the same as regular building hours
unless posted for special usage.
v
Clean walking shoes must be worn on the
track. Please carry in your workout shoes!
You may change shoes in lobby or stairway entrance area.
v Only headphone type stereos are permitted on the
track or in the building.
v Track
may be used by any Y member high school age (9th grade & above). Fifth to eighth grade members must have
special permission badge from a YMCA employee.
v Small
children (4th grade and under) may only use the track when accompanied by an
adult and must stay within arms length of adult to prevent accidents.
v During busy periods, walkers should stay in
designated lanes of the track.
Members, non-members and guests will be expected to conduct themselves in a proper manner at all times.
