Well, where do I start? It's been over a year since my last SAVED update. I had my website on the Dreamwater server and it just up and disappeared one day. I took my last saved copy and put it on the @Home server as it was saved, I didn't really have time to try to redo the updates I had done since March of 2001. Then when @Home went broke I figured I'd just wait until Mediacom got everything figured out before I tried to do anything with the website, so here it is at it's new location.
I've been out of work and recovering from a Pulmonary Embolism (a blood clot in my lung) since early January, it's thrown a pretty good wrench into my racing plans for this season. The doctors told me they would prefer that I didn't race for a while due to the medication I'm taking to clear up the clots in my lungs. I figure at this point I'll listen to them and sit out for a while.
The car has gone through quite a few changes since my last update, none of them good. I put a tunnel ram back on the car in hopes of running closer to the 9's without jugging it up. I ran it the first time with a pair of 1050's and it slowed down almost 2 tenths but picked up 1 mile per hour. Then I did some dealing and got a pair of 830's for it and it ran a little better than the Dominators but not any better than the Victor with a single 1050. So I sold the ram, I figured if it's not gonna run any better than a single Dominator then it's not worth the trouble of two carbs and all the BS that goes along with them.
So I've got the Victor and 1050 sitting on the bench right now and I'm waiting for a couple of pieces to finish plumbing my fogger back into it. I'm not quite sure when I'll be able to race it but I'm going to get it running again soon. It's still for sale so who knows?

Well I just got my computer back up and running yesterday and got enough software installed to be able to surf and update the page today....what a drag!
Wednesday night at Sears Point went very well for us and the car. Right off the trailer it went 10.391 @ 128.85 with a 1.55 60' time....the track was really slick, this was the first Wednesday night race of the year. The rain from the last few days had washed off what little rubber had been put down the previous weekend. It was still the best ever pass the car had made without squeezing it.
I made an air pressure adjustment in the slicks and lowered the launch rpm on the 2-step for the next pass. I could feel it left much better and it went through the lights at 7500 rpm (yikes!). I went 10.271 @ 129.99 with a 1.467 60' time. I was more than happy to have it run that quick especially since I've obviously got the wrong gear in the car....I'd like to see the motor closer to 6800-7000 rpm through the lights.
I was hoping to get another time run in but had to dial-in for the 3rd pass, I dialed it at 10.30 and didn't change the car at all. It was cooling way down and I knew the track was fair at best. I cut a bad light and got trailered first round....I ran a 10.316 on a 10.30 dial but a .679 light is gonna send you home more times than not. I didn't get a 60' time on my slip, but it seemed like it slipped the tires a taste.
Overall I was happy, I didn't worry too much about not going a round since I was primarily there to test the car and I wasn't doing the motor any good by twisting it so tight anyways. Larry has a set of 4.30 gears (got a 4.56 in it now) that I can borrow and I'm going to put my other tires on it....they're 29.5" tall vs. 28.0" so hopefully that will bring the rpm down to around 7000 in the lights and pick my mph up over 130 where it should be, we'll see. I might need to go to a 4.10 if it still spins too tight.

I'm taking the car to Sears Point tomorrow to meet up with some people that I met at Mustangsandmore.com. TomP is coming down from Canada to go to the March meet at Bakersfield this weekend and he's going to stop by Sears Point tomorrow, so a few of us are going to meet at the track.
I'm borrowing a truck from my Uncle to get there, I built a 390 for my truck and it ate a rod bearing while breaking in the cam....needless to say, I'm a bit pissed off about that deal. Not sure when I'll get it back together but it's my #1 automotive related priority at this point. I'm only taking the car out to meet up with the M&M crowd at the track....I figured if I was going anyway then I might as well take the car and shakedown the new motor combination.
The new motor combination is the same 460 that was in it with a bit more compression and a different cam grind, everything else is the same stuff, so I figure it should run pretty close to the 10.40 @ 129 that it did before....maybe a little quicker, but I've learned that 1/10's are hard to come by these days.
Larry and Tim will both have their cameras with them so I hope to get some good pics of the car, along with Steve and Melissa's '66 Mustang and Tim's '88 convertible.

It's Christmas today! I've finally found some time to update here now that the insanity is pretty much over. I work in the grocery business and I can honestly say that the last 3 months have been the toughest I've had to deal with at work in my 13 1/2 years I've been doing it. The warehouse workers and truck drivers went on strike in October and came back right after Thanksgiving. The holidays are hard enough in my business under normal conditions, but having things screwed up from the strike made things even tougher for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year.
A lot has happened in the last almost 9 months since I've updated....I got my transfer to the Safeway store in Clearlake the last week of June, it's 30 miles from my house so I finally got to move home with the family....I'm really glad to be home. I've been working on the house a lot, mostly the garage to make it into a shop for the hot rod. I built a couple of work benches and some shelves and I ran a 90 amp circuit into a subpanel in the shop to power the compressor and a welder and I wired up a bunch of florescent lights and wall plugs. I still need to run some air lines around but it's a pretty good place to store and work on the car now. I got the car running again after hurting it, But now I'm getting ahead of myself.
We took the car to Sacramento again the end of April, I had checked it out and all seemed to be ok. I found the cap and rotor to be out of phase a bit and found evidence of crossfiring in the cap. I fixed it and figured I had found the cause of my backfire....at least I thought so, wishful thinking I guess.
We ran it on the motor the first pass and it ran 10.40 at 129+ right off the trailer. It ran hard right through the lights and seemed to be really happy. We decided we'd squeeze it since it seemed to be improving with every motor pass and things seemed to be going well.
The next pass, I squeezed it and it popped again on the leave, this time it kept running and I ran it on the motor to about 900 feet and squeezed it again through the lights. It was flat on the jug and went 10.70 sumthin at around 135 with a huge bog after the pop. In hindsight, I believe it was that pass that hurt it. We brought it back and pulled the plugs and it was extremely lean....hard to believe considering how it was jetted. I was running 1 plate and it was jetted relatively conservative....I won't tell my jetting pattern but it was not big and I was running more fuel pressure than I had in the past. We put an even smaller n2o jet in it, took a couple of degrees of timing out and put more fuel pressure to it to make our next pass.
It hit really hard on the next pass and spun the tires, it pulled hard to about 1000 feet and laid down a bit through the lights....hard to believe but it was still lean. It went 9.685 at 140 and change but it didn't hook worth a damn (1.45 60') and only ran hard to 1000'. We pulled the plugs and though it showed signs of detonation, it didn't look like it was hurt....we fattened it up some more and pulled out some more ignition timing and went back up to run it again.
This time it left hard and spun again and only ran good to about 800 or 900 feet and it laid down hard....I lifted the jug just before the first light and coasted it through. I knew it was hurt on the return road because smoke was starting to come inside the car.....it does that every time I blow it up. I got back to the pit and lifted the hood, watered oil everywhere! I was hoping it only kicked a head gasket but I knew better....pulling the plugs revealed a lot of piston on a couple of the plugs.
After tearing it down it had burnt 3 pistons and it detonated so hard that it broke all of the exhaust guides! I even found a couple pieces of exhaust guide in the mufflers...lol. What a mess! I found a set of pistons on E-Bay and was high bidder so I was able to save some money that way. I left the domes on them this time instead of making them flat-tops like before. I also had a different cam ground for it and fixed the heads. I've got it running again and pulled the jug off of it. I figure it was running really good on the motor and with some tweaking I might be able to get it to run a low 10 on the motor....plus the car is for sale and I can't afford to keep throwing motors at it.
I've got the car ready to go back out now but my dilemma is now that my tow vehicle ('67 F-100) isn't running. I've been working on building a new 390 for it for the past year or so and finally got it together also, I just need to put it in the truck now and get it running. Like I said before, I've been really busy with my spare time but I hope to have the truck together in the next couple of months....hopefully before March and I'll get the car out to Sears Point a couple of times for the Wednesday night drags to make sure all is well, after I run it again I'm gonna advertise it and sell it......time to move on to a different project. I want to build a car to run in the PSCA series and this one is just not the right car without spending a ton of money on it.
If any of you readers are interested in buying it email me, please refer to the Comet in the subject line, I'm asking $15,000 turn-key and $10,000 without the engine and converter.
Merry Christmas, Butcher

We took the car to Sacramento yesterday and did a little testing. The place was packed with cars because of the Goodguys race in 2 weeks at Sears and also there were some pretty serious cars out as well, not the least of which was last year's NHRA Pro Stock Truck points champion Bob Panella Jr.....MAN, what a ride that is!!! He made a couple of half track passes early then after most everyone was gone he legged it out and went 7.5sumthin at 179+!!!
We had a very good day overall, if you read my first entry on this page you know that the best the car has ever gone with an FE motor was 10.96 on the motor and 9.95 on the jug. We unloaded the car and took it to tech, it passed tech without a problem and I put it in line. In line I noticed I had pulled the wires to my linelock loose from the switch, I scrambled around and got them fixed (I hoped).
After a few minutes we got the call to suit up, I was nervous as hell, I had driven Rod's and Jack's cars in the past few months but it had been a while since I drove mine, I put it in the water and did my burnout...it was like riding a bike, all of a sudden the butterflies were gone. I staged it and let it rip, it felt like it left ok and it revved up ok in low gear but it definitely went flat in the middle of 2nd and high gear and laid down a bit through the lights. It went 10.71 at 126.33 with a 1.502 60' time. It was pretty obvious that it was lean so we cranked some fuel in it without even looking at the plugs, I did check the fuel pressure and everything was ok there.
Next pass it felt better on the leave and it pulled better through all of the gears but it still laid down just a bit through the lights...though not as bad. It went 10.52 at 128.17 with a 1.492 60' time....pretty good for a simple jet change. We pulled the plugs and put in a set of cold nitrous plugs, we determined that it was still a little lean so we put some more fuel to it again and headed back up to make another pass.
This time it hit real good on the leave and ran all the way through to the lights hard (to me anyway), Larry, Bill and my Dad all said it sounded kinda funny right before the lights, it felt good to me but since we were going in the right direction with the jetting we decided to put just a little more in it, to be safe, and see what happened. The car went 10.499 at 129.41 on that pass.
It was getting late and the car was running really good, no signs of any trouble under the hood, not even a drop of fluid from the radiator overflow or anything like that. So we were very comfortable to try to run it on the squeeze this next pass. The bottles had a lot of pressure in them so I purged them down a little in the staging lanes and told Larry that this was it, we were gonna go for it.
I did a long burnout and Larry backed me up into the good rubber, I purged the system down to 1050 lbs and staged the car. When I left it hit the system real hard and the front end felt like it was climbing up pretty good and WHOOSHBANG!!! The hood lifted up about 3 inches (no joke!) and I saw a flame come out of the scoop, I got the car out of the groove and coasted it down the track, I could see that it wasn't dumping any oil or anything in my mirror so I just let it coast....it had not even accelerated 60' and it coasted to the finish line. I rolled it over on the starter some while it was coasting because I didn't know if the carb was on fire, or still on the motor for that matter!...I figured if it was on fire I could maybe suck it out that way and not burn up the hood.
The track guy came down and towed me off the track and back down the return road, he said "Man, you could just see the heat come out from under the car!" Larry and my Dad were there at the end of the return road right at the pits and we lifted the hood to check things out. It looked as if nothing had happened under there, I looked to see that the throttle blades weren't bent and I fired it up! It was flooded, but it fired and ran fine....Man, I was so happy, Dad jumped in the car with me and we drove it back to the pit....I think everyone was surprised as hell to see it drive back....lol.
I'll run a leakdown on it at the shop but I really don't think that it's hurt at all....pretty amazing if you'd seen the explosion. In retrospect, Larry and I have discussed it and we're gonna back down on the system a little bit and run it again, it's happy as hell on the motor and I've never felt it hit as hard as it did on that last leave. The car is running as good in the first 60' now on the motor as it ever did on the jug before....I think it went 1.46 on the 9.95 pass with the FE motor.
So, I've got a few things to take care of before we go out again. I need to get my physical to renew my license and get a sfi 3.3/5 jacket and get a good balancer on the car to be legal to go 9's again. I'll leak the motor and get the carb off and make sure the floats aren't flat or anything and we should be good to go....I'll keep you posted.
Thanks, Butcher

7 months to the day this time since my last update, alot has happened in my life since the last update. I bought a house in Lakeport California...that's right on Clearlake for those of you who don't know the area. I moved the wife and kids up there (3 hours away), I'm staying here for now until I can work out a transfer with work...that's like watching grass grow. Spud let's me hang around the shop to keep me busy and I get up there every other week or so on my days off.
So it's been slow going on the car for the last few months, I got it running right around January but it's been sitting in need of some minor wiring and a few other details. I had the NHRA tech inspector come by the shop to renew the certification on the chassis and it FAILED!!! It seems the first guy that certified it was a little more relaxed about it than this guy...it needed a couple of bars to run down from the main hoop and be welded to the subframe connectors. Not a huge deal, but I had to rip the carpet up and cut a couple holes in the floor and deal with welding a couple of bars into a finished interior...not my idea of fun.
I pulled the Tunnel Ram off and put an Edelbrock Victor and a single 1050 on it with the 2 NOS plates from the Ram. It runs much better (in the shop anyway) this way...much more drivable and responsive. I put a big hood scoop on it before I decided to pull the ram, but the Victor doesn't fit under the stocker either.
Last week I got tired of the car sitting around gathering dust and told Larry that we were taking the car out to test it at Sacramento on April 1st. I got off my ass and finished the wiring the other day and plumbed up the jug so it's pretty much ready to roll. It needs a bath real bad and we need to get our tools and support equipment together, but it's about time for the moment of truth...I've already got butterflies...lol...been a while since I drove the beast.
I've got a couple of new pictures to post and I hope I can get someone out to Sac with a camera so I can get a few of it in action, I'll be sure to get a couple of it with the new intake on it. I'll update again next week after we run the car...good or bad, I promise.
Thanks, Butcher

Let's see, 4 1/2 months since my last update...lol, getting better. I've made alot of progress on the car since my last update, when I actually tried to get my hands on the Edelbrock Victor intake they were on national backorder. So I had an old Offenhauser tunnel ram that I didn't plan on using because it has a SCJ (BIG!!!) intake port and I was originally going to run a set of ported iron heads with a smaller intake port. Well, I ended up getting a set of TFS aluminum "street" heads...they are very close to the original SCJ head with a better chamber and exhaust port in aluminum, very cool! I decided to use the old Offy ram and since I already had 1 new 1050 Dominator I figured, what the hell, I'd put 2 of them on it! I machined the 4150 pads off of the top of the ram and had Spud weld a 3/4" plate to it, then I put the new piece in the Bridgeport mill and whittled a couple of dominator pads on it, here's a decent picture of the top of the ram. I now have the motor done and in the car....WOOOHOOO!!!
The final engine combination is as follows...'71 block and crank (stock stroke) Eagle rods and .030 TRW pistons with the domes cut off combined with the 73cc chamber of the new heads it's 12.2 to 1. The heads had a bowl blend and a mild clean-up job done on the ports, they ended up flowing 329cfm on the intake and 235cfm on the exhaust at .700 lift. They have stainless valves and titanium retainers with Crane roller rockers. I won't give up the cam numbers here, but I'll tell you it's a flat tappet with .650 lift. I put the final combination into the Desktop Dyno with the ACTUAL flow numbers and it came up with 632hp @ 6500 and 594tq @ 5000 rpm! If it makes anything close to that, I'll be happy as hell! With those numbers the car should run 10.40's with ease on the motor and who knows what it might run on the juice?!? I've always gotten over a full second out of the jug!...time will tell. It will be a little while before it's actually running, I still need another carburetor ($600) and I need to plumb some braided hose and do some minor wiring....I'm in the process of moving next weekend and I'm out of money for the car right now. I'll get some side work going on and get it running as soon as I get the move done and some other stuff caught up. I'll update again after it runs...soon I hope!...lol. You can view all of the pictures I have of the new combination here.
Thanks, Butcher

Hi there, me again...lol.
I
finally got back to work on the car this week. I was working
swing shift for the last 6 months and just got back to graveyards
last week, so now I have my days free again. I missed having my
days to get stuff done more than I thought I would. Anyway, I got
the dummy 460 motor mocked up in the car and the new mounts are
done.
I got a set of Hooker headers for a 429
SCJ in a 71-73 Mustang that have a 2 1/8 primary tube that are a
pretty nice set of tubes...but every tube runs into something! The 71-73 Mustang is alot wider at the shock towers than my Comet
is, and I know there's a joint that makes a header for my
application but when I called the guy, he was such a prick on the
phone that I refuse to give him my business...I don't care how
much it cost me to do otherwise. I won't mention any names
because I believe that even bad advertisement is advertisement
none the less.
So I got these headers and I think I can
get them to fit without cutting any tubes, I'll need to flatten
one tube a little bit (I know) to get by the steering box and the
rest I can get in by cutting/notching and plating the lower
corners of the shock towers. I'll make em work, there not a
bolt-on by any means but there close enough and beat the hell out
of trying to make a custom set.
I also changed my mind on the induction for
the new combination, instead of the tunnel ram, I decided to go
with an Edelbrock Victor with a 1050 Dominator. I got one of the
new HP series Dominators from Holley, it's real nice...screw in
air bleeds, new main body casting, Holley did good. I'm going to
run The
Needles Edge on it for ease of jet changes, the BEST jet change system, in my opinion.
I'll try to get some pictures of the
conversion, if I can, I'll post them on the site and link to
them, I've also got some other pictures of the car I found so
maybe I'll make a picture page. Well, I gotta run, got a ton of
stuff to do and I've been sick as hell the last couple days, I'll
try to update here more often than in the past.
Thanks, Butcher
OK, so I promised you guys an
update on my real race car status how many months ago?...hehe, sorry I've taken so long to do it,
I've been really busy with a
bunch of different stuff. I got pretty upset that the 'ol FE
motor watered the oil and I didn't touch the car for almost 4
months. When I did finally check it out to see what was wrong it
appeared to be a bad intake manifold seal (???). So I fixed it (I
thought) and we got it ready again to go to the track. We took it
to Sacramento in early August on a Friday night test and tune
session, ran the car 1 pass and it ran like crap. I brought it
back to the pit and guess what? Water in the oil AGAIN!!! Needless to say,
the only FE motor in my life now is in my truck.
So that was early August, since then I
got my 460 almost ready to assemble. It's a nice little motor, stock block and crank ('70),
Eagle rods, .030 over TRW pistons, solid Ultradyne cam, with a VERY nice set of ported iron heads
with scj valves and a Weiand tunnel ram. I still need to do a
mock-up of a dummy motor in the car to get my mounts and headers
and such together, but the whole deal is coming together nicely. I was able to sell most of my good FE stuff,
so that offset some
of the expense of the conversion. I probably won't get a chance
to mock the car for another month or so, I'll be happy if I can
get the car done by next spring. I figure it should run better
than the FE did if it's broken...hehe, so I'm lookin for it to
run mid to high 10's on the motor and solid 9's on the jug.
I also decided not to sell it for the
time being, the fact is I've been really mad at it for a long
time, mad at myself really...for not doing the conversion to 460
sooner. I guess I just thought since I was buried in the FE deal
with trick parts and good headers and whatnot that I'd try to
tough it out and eventually I could come across another trick
block, fact is I can buy a trick 460 block for less money than I
spent on breaking 5 FE blocks...just took me a while to see it. So I'd just like to say...I'm Butch and I'm an FE-aholic...I
think I just took the first step to recovery...lol.
Thanks, Butcher
Well I was hoping my first entry on this page would be a positive one, but its not (I could puke!). We were all set to go testing the new combination, truck loaded, trailer road worthy, race fuel purchased (sorry Larry), car washed. We had fired the motor a couple times to double check timing, trans fluid (low), charging system, etc. and everything seemed fine. I checked the motor oil just before we were going to load the car on the trailer and found BABYSHIT!!! (sorry) I meant to say water in the oil (I try not to cuss on the web page). This is nothing new to this car (more on that later) but I don't know the extent of the damage, this thing never came off the jackstands! I'll post my findings and what direction I'll go (460 or FE) when I figure it out (probably be a while, I'm a bit tired of it right now).
To give a history of the car, Larry bought the car off the street in Redwood City for $100.00, it is an original 390, auto, 9 inch rear GT car, the motor was junk so he put an old 390 that we had taken out of a Mustang in it. He drove it for sale for a long time but nobody really showed an interest in it. I had a Ranchero with a small block in it that ran 14.0's that I bracket raced at the time. One night Larry brought the Comet to the track and made a couple passes in it, it had a one legger and a 3.00 gear and it would smoke the right rear for like 400 or 500 feet (no joke!) and ran like 16.90 or something. Larry let me drive it and I was able to peddle it and it went 15.60's that night. The funny thing was that at 15.60 that Big block car was a lot more fun to drive than my Ranchero. We put a posi and a 3.89 gear in it and took it out the next week and it ran 14.60's, after some slapper bars and some tuning we had the thing running consistent 14.20's. We raced it like that for a while and did pretty good.
I traded a set of heads to Larry for the car in Dec. of '85 (actually the day before X-mas). It was a solid car but needed paint and the motor had blown a head gasket so bad it split the radiator. I worked in a machine shop at the time and rebuilt the motor, I traded a car that I was going to junk for a paint job, and took it to Baylands Raceway (R.I.P.) in Fremont and it ran 13.73 @ 99.98 mph with a 3.89 gear and stock exhaust. I dealt my stepdad Bill out of a 427 stroker (454ci) that he had, I went through it and put it in with a set of headers and a single 4 bbl. I drove it to Fremont one night and it ran 12.69, and I had my traction problem all over again. Larry and I decided to put it "on kill" and take it back over that weekend.
We borrowed a trailer, put a set of slicks on, took off the mufflers, turned a few screws, and took it to the track to set the world on fire. I was the first car in the water that Sunday morning, It was a big bracket race, there must have been a million people there. I did my burnout and as I started to roll out of the water... BANG!!! It felt like someone kicked me in the rear. I got out of the car and it looked like a rainbow underneath, the rearend had turned on the springs and bound the U-joint, it broke the pinion gear in half, broke the driveshaft in half, broke the C-6 in half, and pushed the motor into the radiator. There was anti-freeze, ATF and gear oil all over, there were a LOT of racers upset at me! One however had a Fairlane that had a bunch of good parts on it and told me he was parting the car out.
We went to look at the car and it had some neat stuff on it, I ended up buying a set of Centerlines with slicks, the headers that are still on the car today (2in adj hookers), the rearend and a bunch of other stuff from him. I got the car back together and it ran 11.80's like clockwork. We raced it like that for a long time 'till I over-revved it in the water one time and bent a valve, We fixed the valve and ran the rest of the season with it.
During the winter we went through the motor, changed the cam profile and put nitrous on it. We ran the car on the motor for a while (it still ran 11.80's) before squeezing it. We took it to Sears Point (Baylands had just closed) one night and ran it on the jug. It was awesome, I had that traction problem again only worse than ever! I made 4 passes that night and it was quicker each pass, 10.90 something, 10.80 something, 10.70 something and 10.59. 10.59...MY GOD!!! I was stoked it was going 128 or 129 mph !!! Well needless to say I've been hooked on nitrous ever since. We tuned and played with it for quite some time and did REAL well bracket racing it and got it to run consistently in the 10.20 range with a best of 10.18@ 133.60 mph. It was still a full car at this point with safety glass, roll up windows and stock wheelwells with 9" slicks.
After kicking a head gasket, I decided to build another motor and things haven't been the same since. The motor I was running was .040 over so I figured I'd get another block. Since getting rid of that first block I've split cylinders in 5, that's right 5, blocks, now I don't know if your aware of how much FE Ford stuff cost but good blocks are hard to find and not cheap. Also during this rebuilding phase I went through the car and put in a new 10 point cage (it had a 6 point bar), cut the stock wheelwells out and put in mini-tubs, got rid of the stock glass and roll up mechanisms and put in Lexan, put in an aluminum dash and door panels, basically put a lot of money and a TON of work into it. We've had the car running a number of times since doing this but can't keep a motor in it, The best we've done is with the first motor we built we ran 10.96 on the motor first pass, but it was smoking (split cylinder), then with the last motor (before this one) We managed to keep it together long enough to get me my competition license by running 9.95 and 9.97, then at the next race it split a cylinder AND broke the crank and the main webs.
So at this point I figure to not run the jug on it and we'll run a nice soft 11.50 combo and get some track time in. The car is For Sale but I really don't want to sell it not running, besides that it doesn't get seen when it's not running. So I put together this 428 that was a runner with a couple broken pistons when I got it. I honed it and put a new set of pistons in it with a solid cam and my dual quads, balanced it, it seemed like a pretty nice little bracket motor, but it don't even get out of the driveway (go figure). I haven't taken it apart to see whats wrong with it, but if it's another busted block I'm gonna build my 460 and have a bunch of FE parts for sale, and if it's something minor I guess I'll fix it and try again, at this point I don't know. Looks like the only racing I'll be doing in the near future is on the computer (I'm out of money). I'll post my findings.
Thanks for listening. Butcher
