Pioneer Lutheran Church

Pioneer Lutheran Church is a congregation of the South Dakota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Founded in 1884 by Danes of the Grundtvigian tradition (the "happy Danes"), Pioneer has served the community of White, South Dakota for 115 years. Today we are a growing, vibrant community dedicated to Christ and his Gospel. We are located just seven miles north of Brookings on I29, one mile east, and two miles north. We worship each Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
