These tuts were written for Paint Shop Pro versions 7 and 8 but can be applied to later versions provided you know your way around PSP pretty good. The tools you use might look a bit different or in different locations, but otherwise work the same

For this tutorial you will need:

EZ Heart Gif by Tye

Open the Heart Gif in Animation Shop first so you have a transparent background then Import to PSP.
Add text of your choice.
I used Edwardian Script ITC.

If you would like to add a cut-out text, use these settings:
Click in the center of your heart.  Choose a font, Center the text.  Size and choosing Bold text depends on your taste and font choice.
Color doesn't matter, tick Selection and Antialias box.  Click OK.
 

Do not deselect.
Add a Cut Out using these settings:


Add a drop shadow using these settings:
Change the drop shadow color to #FFB199

Deselect, adjust your text until its where you want it  and Merge Visible.

That is it!
