Even a new site will be indexed rapidly, if it has incoming links. Our Search Engine Optimizing (SEO) strategy will focus on the importance of incoming links. Each page will have relevant text links (better for indexing).

What is RSS?
My example RSS Feed in HTML

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is used by web sites to share and distribute their latest content. Web sites create a list — a feed — of the contents on their site. For eBay sellers that means all of your products.

Benefits of syndicating your content
* Turn your visitors into subscribers
* Drive traffic to your site and increase page views and registrations
* Expand page inventory with less ongoing work
* Enable syndication of your content to other publishers
* New content format for embedding advertising and other revenue programs
* Make your content more discoverable by search engines and emerging applications

This is what your text link will look like: Subscribe to By the Bay (note: I use the orange square for my about me page - people recognize it - but we are requesting you use text for this site - if coping several codes for you links copy them onto a text file i.e. Notepad - you can only paste onto a text file - very important!

Encourage people to subscribe to your feed by posting it in an easy-to-find location.

I encourage people to check out this bog by jewelry-collectibles for information on RSS feeds for more information. Remember the more places you have your information posted the better your chances are; so with that in mind check out The Marketplace ~ dedicated promotion for eBay store owners!
